Job Title:

Our team is seeking a talented Drainage Engineer to design innovative drainage systems for civil infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will lead and coordinate design elements to meet project goals and client expectations, partnering with Principal Engineers on large-scale projects and owning their deliverables.

Key responsibilities include producing high-quality design reports and drawing packages, utilizing knowledge of Austroads guidelines, TMR standards and specifications, ARR and QUDM experience.

Required skills and qualifications include a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Bachelor or Masters) and minimum 2-3 years' experience in drainage design.

A positive, team-first attitude with a passion for technical excellence and innovation is essential, along with great communication skills and a drive to make a difference.

  • Designing innovative drainage systems for civil infrastructure projects.
  • Leading and coordinating design elements to meet project goals and client expectations.
  • Partnering with Principal Engineers on large-scale projects and owning your deliverables.
  • Producing high-quality design reports and drawing packages.
  • Knowledge of Austroads guidelines, TMR standards and specifications, ARR and QUDM Experience with rail drainage standards and specifications would also be a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with stormwater and drainage design (open channels, culverts, pit and piped systems).
  • Proficiency in tools like 12D, DRAINS, MUSIC— use of dynamic drainage within 12D and/or experience with TUFLOW is a bonus.
  • RPEQ accreditation (or working towards it) is highly regarded.
