Job Overview

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and assistance to clients in accordance with their NDIS plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized support to clients, focusing on their unique needs and goals.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as eating, dressing, bathing, and grooming.
  • Offer transportation assistance to clients, promoting independence and mobility.
  • Provide respite care to clients and their families, offering a much-needed break and allowing them to recharge.
  • Offer overnight/sleepover care, providing a safe and supportive environment for clients.
  • Administer medication accurately, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clients' care plans and progress, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • A minimum of high school or equivalent qualification.
  • Certificate 3 in individual support or equivalent higher qualification.
  • Previous experience working with people with disabilities, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
  • Strong knowledge of the NDIS and its guidelines, enabling effective service delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
