Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out and delivering measurement and pricing associated with dedicated public realm and similar civil projects. This includes project estimates for all phases of design, cost control, value management, benchmarking analysis, and post-contract services such as assessment of progress claims and contract variations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Industry experience in landscaping and civil estimating with at least 5 years' demonstrated experience as a dedicated estimator;
- Knowledge of landscaping and civil construction, understanding first principle estimating with practical knowledge;
- Experience in South Australia and/or throughout Australia is essential;
- Ability to work both autonomously and part of a wider public realm and civil estimating team;
- Ability to measure projects accurately and in detail;
- Must be able to communicate well and establish and maintain strong working relationships;
- Preparing estimates for both local and regional locations;
- Experience with estimating software systems, on-screen take-off software, and earthworks modelling;
