Therapeutic Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and resilient individual to provide therapeutic support and care to vulnerable young people in Out of Home Care.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality therapeutic care by collaborating with our dedicated team.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions and program guidelines to ensure the highest standard of care and child safety.
  • Serve as a positive role model, supporting young people in their educational, social, and recreational pursuits while fostering independence.
  • Create a safe and nurturing home environment, including managing household duties and providing nutritious meals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills, active listening, and a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to multitask.
  • Creative thinking and a non-judgmental approach to life.
  • Minimum Cert IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or equivalent qualification is required.
