Laboratory Services Coordinator

About the Role
As a Laboratory Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for contributing to effective and efficient laboratory services in various locations across South Australia. This role involves undertaking tasks that require the practical application of basic skills and knowledge, with a focus on venepuncture and specimen collection, courier runs, sorting and accessioning specimens according to set protocols.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage internal and external customer enquiries effectively and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to effective and efficient laboratory services by undertaking roles which may include venepuncture and specimen collection, courier runs, sorting and accessioning specimens according to set protocols.
- Manage internal and external customer enquiries effectively and professionally.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

Essential Requirements
- Certification III in Pathology Collection or equivalent qualification.
- Current National Police Clearance (NPC).
