About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Tradesperson to join our team at our Minto manufacturing site. As an Electrical Tradesperson, you will be responsible for providing electrical maintenance and repair services to ensure the smooth operation of our production lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on production equipment and machinery
  • Conduct complex fault finding and repairs of electrical, electronic components, and instruments
  • Participate in autonomous maintenance programs to improve plant efficiency
  • Complete site-focused improvements and small projects across the site
  • Monitor and evaluate the condition of all electrical, electronics, and instrumentation
  • Work as a team player to maintain and improve plant efficiency
  • Analyze data and solve complex electrical, instrumentation, and automation problems
  • Train and coach electrical apprentices
Requirements
  • Australian Electrical Trade qualification
  • NSW Electrical License
  • Experience in a manufacturing FMCG environment
  • Excellent skills to troubleshoot machine issues using automation software like Rockwell and Siemens (including PCS7) in a timely manner
  • Training skills to train operators, apprentices, fellow trades (share knowledge) after implementation of improvement projects or any major breakdown
  • Strong communication skills and a can-do attitude
  • Understanding of OH&S requirements and safe work behavior
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
