About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at our Minto manufacturing site. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide shift breakdown support for packing lines, mixing plants, palletizing, utilities, and waste treatment plant.
  • Conduct complex fault finding and repairs of electrical, electronic components, and instruments.
  • Participate in autonomous maintenance programs to ensure optimal plant efficiency.
  • Complete site-focused improvements and small projects across the site.
  • Monitor and evaluate the condition of all electrical, electronics, and instrumentation.
  • Work as a team player to maintain and improve plant efficiency.
  • Analyze data and solve complex electrical, instrumentation, and automation problems.
  • Train and coach electrical apprentices.
Requirements
  • Australian Electrical Trade qualification.
  • NSW Electrical License.
  • Experience in a manufacturing FMCG environment.
  • Excellent skills to troubleshoot machine issues using automation software like Rockwell and Siemens (including PCS7) in a timely manner.
  • Training skills to train operators, apprentices, fellow trades (share knowledge) after implementation of improvement projects or any major breakdown.
  • Strong communication skills and a can-do attitude.
  • Understanding of OH&S requirements and safe work behavior.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
