Job Title

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Technology Support Specialist to join our team.

  • Provide frontline support to staff and students with ICT troubleshooting and helpdesk services.
  • Log, prioritize and manage phone, email and web-based queries through the Service Desk system.
  • Elevate unresolved issues to senior IT staff when required.
  • Assist with device and software set-up for staff and students.
  • Provide training and guidance on digital platforms and learning resources.
  • Maintain College systems to ensure uptime, security and performance reliability.
  • Support College-wide ICT projects and contribute to process improvements.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proficiency across a range of ICT technologies and digital platforms.
  • Solid troubleshooting skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Experience with Mac OS and Windows OS environments.
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace (GSuite) and Microsoft 365.
  • Exposure to School Management Systems (Canvas, TASS, Synergetic etc.).
  • Familiarity with JAMF Pro and Apple School Manager.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and SOE deployment methods.
  • Previous experience working in an education or school environment.
