Workforce Coordinator Job Description

Vivir Healthcare is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Workforce Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Melbourne CBD. As a key member of our workforce management team, you will play a crucial role in optimizing schedules, evaluating workforce utilization, and managing referrals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule Optimization: Coordinate and organize homecare schedules to balance cost and logistics for maximum efficiency.
  • Workforce Utilization: Ensure optimal use of workforce resources through constant evaluation and adjustment.
  • Referral Management: Handle referral processes, from categorization to clinician assignments, ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the primary contact for clients, providers, and clinical workforce to address issues and provide feedback.
  • Supervision: Guide and support offshore Workforce Planners to maintain task efficiency and productivity.
  • Communication: Relay workforce needs and resignations to team leaders and management promptly.
  • Opportunity Identification: Spot growth areas and business opportunities from client requests and referral trends.
  • Complaint Handling: Address client complaints and escalate complex issues as needed.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a corporate setting, preferably in a workforce scheduling and coordination environment.
  • Exceptional English Skills: Strong command of both written and verbal English.
  • Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail and process-oriented mindset.
  • Customer Service Star: Outstanding customer service skills with a proactive, 'Can-do' attitude.
  • Data Accuracy: High-level accuracy in data entry.
  • Pressure Player: Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Tech-Savvy: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Team Player: Collaborative spirit with the ability to work autonomously when needed.
  • Effective Communicator: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all stakeholders.
