Sport and Recreation Coordinator

Our department seeks a Sport and Recreation Coordinator to manage the day-to-day operations of sports programs, teams, and team management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for sport and recreation, excellent communication skills, and experience in coordinating events and managing teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate the administration of sport programs, teams, and team management.
- Support sporting clubs and programs.
- Assist with the operation of sport and active recreation programs and services.
The successful applicant will have excellent time management and organisational skills, accompanied by the ability to meet deadlines. They will also have a genuine interest in sports and recreation activities and be able to build relationships with students, clubs, and stakeholders.
Required Skills:- Genuine interest and participation in sports and recreation activities.
- Demonstrated exceptional people skills and ability to build relationships.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and prior experience in sporting competition management and organising multiple sporting teams' involvement.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in working with sporting clubs.
- Demonstrated ability to provide guidance to team members and support the creation and maintenance of an effective customer-focused team culture.
- Demonstrated experience in risk assessment and development of regulations and guidelines for sports provision.
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills including ability to meet deadlines.
