We have several exciting Sports and Recreation Traineeships at Swan Active, with positions available in Midland, Beechboro and Ballajura. This is your chance to launch a rewarding career in the sport and recreation industry while gaining hands-on experience in a busy leisure facility.

As a Sport and Recreation Trainee, you'll gain skills and experience across lifeguarding, customer service and administration – no two days will be the same. You'll have the opportunity to work with the local community, develop your professional skills, and learn from experienced mentors, all while contributing to a vibrant and supportive workplace.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals ready to learn and grow. These traineeships are perfect for recent school leavers wanting real-world experience in sport and recreation.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to be:

  • A confident and capable swimmer (able to swim 50m+)
  • Well organised, reliable, and a great team player
  • Someone with strong communication and customer service skills
