About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our vibrant school community in a full-time or part-time capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering quality teaching and learning, as well as a willingness to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive learning environment.

The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and developing strategies to support student growth and achievement. They will also be expected to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of mutual respect and trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver and assess high-quality learning programs that cater to diverse student needs
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance student engagement, motivation, and academic achievement
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to staff meetings, professional learning teams, and other collaborative efforts to drive school improvement
  • Participate in data-driven decision making to inform instructional practices and improve student outcomes

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant teaching authority
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team culture
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students, parents, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, with a flexible and responsive approach to teaching and learning
