Instructional Specialist Job Description:

This role focuses on supporting the implementation of literacy and numeracy practices in schools. The ideal candidate will have expertise in teaching and learning strategies, as well as experience working with educators to improve student outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. SUPPORT THE IMPLEMENTATION OF LITERACY AND NUMERACY PRACTICES IN SCHOOLS
  2. COLLABORATE WITH EDUCATORS TO DEVELOP AND DELIVER TRAINING PROGRAMS
  3. EVALUATE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF LITERACY AND NUMERACY INITIATIVES

Requirements:
  • Registered teacher with full registration within the meaning of the Teachers Registration Act 2000
  • Four years or more training as defined in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award 2005
  • Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)
