This position is based at our Brisbane Hangar and involves ensuring the continued airworthiness of our aircraft through effective configuration control of the aircraft's software, avionics and electrical systems for the operated fleet types.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and a desire to work with a diverse team of talented individuals who love what they do.
- A suitable Aviation Engineering Qualification, advanced computer and data analysis skills, and 5 years relevant work experience in an airline technical services or aircraft maintenance role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of regulations and standards applicable to aircraft maintenance programs, regular maintenance requirements, and aircraft certification basis.
As an Avionics Engineer, you will play a key role in initiating preventative or predictive maintenance strategies to improve aircraft technical dispatch reliability.
You'll collaborate with our team to ensure the ongoing airworthiness of our aircraft and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Requirements:
- Advanced computer and data analysis skills
- 5 years relevant work experience with at least 2 years working in either an airline technical services, support role or aircraft maintenance in an avionics-based discipline
- Comprehensive knowledge of:
- The regulations and standards applicable to aircraft maintenance programs and reliability programs.
- Regular maintenance requirements included in the instruction for continuing airworthiness for the aircraft.
- The specifications and standards that have been used by the type certificate holder to develop regular maintenance requirements for the aircraft.
- The aircraft certification basis.
- The aircraft avionics and in-flight entertainment systems, for the aircraft type operated by the airline.
