Avionics Engineering Leadership Role

This is a challenging opportunity to lead a team in delivering effective engineering services. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a genuine desire to work with people.

The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve integrated logistics outcomes and contributing to the success of the business through innovation and collaboration.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in a technical industry with a strong understanding of core sustainment principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to engage, influence and cooperate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • 'Servant leader' mindset, with genuine desire to work with people, collaborate with peers and foster team personnel development.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with ACEA Product Support Team multidisciplinary leaders and teams to generate Integrated Logistics and achieve effective aircraft fleet sustainment and modernisation outcomes.
  • Support Project Managers, Chief Engineer and Deputy Chief Engineer to ensure engineering and technical support scope is delivered on time and within quality outcomes.
  • Closely work with Work Management Team to plan work, track critical progress and understand broad enterprise priorities.
  • Evaluate and improve performance metrics and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Lead team members' performance management and development.

The ideal candidate will be able to provide strategic leadership, drive results and build high-performing teams.
