Job Overview

Civil designers play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of projects across various sectors, including urban development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality designs using 12D software, with experience in Civil 3D an asset.
  • Manage and complete assigned modeling projects within agreed timelines.
  • Assist project managers in determining drafting and design resources required for project planning.
  • Produce accurate, clear, and concise project documents compliant with best practices and quality standards.
  • Resolve complex technical drafting and design issues.
  • Maintain professional relationships with project managers, design engineers, and drafters within other disciplines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Relevant engineering degree and/or certifications.
  • At least 5+ years of demonstrated industry experience in civil design standards, with in-depth knowledge of 12D and Civil 3D software.
  • Experience in AutoCAD and 12d Synergy.
  • Design knowledge in road design, earthworks, grading design, and utilities design.
  • Excellent client-focus and sound technical know-how.
  • Ability to develop design elements from concept sketches to detailed drawings.
  • High attention to detail and ability to deliver quality output within timelines.
Prior Experience Required
  • Experience working on Urban Development projects in Southeast Qld. or Northern NSW.
