About This Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated professional to fill a unique role in our Child and Family Team.

As a child and family support worker, you will work with vulnerable clients in rural and remote communities, focusing on early childhood development, parenting resilience, and mobile services.

You will develop and implement programs to strengthen family relationships, enhance participation and family functioning, provide information and referral pathways, and increase awareness of children's wellbeing.

Your Responsibilities

  • Supporting the development of early childhood initiatives
  • Developing and implementing family-focused programs
  • Enhancing community participation and family wellbeing
  • Providing information and advice on children's services
  • Maintaining partnerships with stakeholders

Requirements for Success

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of cultural sensitivity and community engagement
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations in remote settings
  • Ability to develop and implement effective programs and services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team
