Electromechanical Product Designer

We are seeking an Electromechanical Product Designer to join our team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing complex, electro-mechanical products and systems with a focus on innovation and quality.

About the Role
  • Develop cutting-edge products, adhering to our design language and ensuring feasibility and design integrity.
  • Oversee the entire product journey from concept to launch, working cross-functionally to integrate complex engineering concepts into designs.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, manufacturers, and suppliers, managing project outcomes and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Manage technical aspects, including developing and maintaining accurate BOMs, assembly instructions, and CAD models.
  • Present impressive design concepts and solutions through modelling, rendering, and prototyping.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant professional experience in electromechanical product design.
  • Portfolio showcasing creativity, problem-solving skills, design process, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in Solidworks, Adobe Suite (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and Keyshot.
  • Strong ideation, sketching, and product rendering skills.
  • Diverse experience in design for manufacture with knowledge of various manufacturing techniques.
  • Excellent task and time management skills.
