Senior Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Mount Isa. As a Senior Psychologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based Psychology services in child development, inpatients, outpatient clinics, and via telehealth. You will work closely with our First Nations population and contribute to the advancement of quality Psychology services and optimal patient care through service development, quality improvement, and evaluation.

• Deliver clinical psychology services, including clinical, health, and psychometric assessments, and interventions, within a multidisciplinary team.
• Apply professional judgement to a varied caseload, through routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and patient records in line with Departmental, Unit, and Health Service procedures.
• Provide clinical practice supervision and education commensurate with the level of experience for students and less experienced staff.

• Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia under the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Endorsement with the Psychology Board of Australia in a relevant area of practice (Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology) will be favourably considered.

• Generous remuneration package value up to $152,775 p.a. comprising salary range of $ to $ p.f. (HP4), 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading, and 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.
