
Venue Event Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Venue Event Coordinator to join our team.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating events at GIO Stadium, Manuka Oval or Exhibition Park In Canberra (EPIC). This will include managing event facility management, attending events and working across all venues when required.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate events at multiple venues including GIO Stadium, Manuka Oval and Exhibition Park In Canberra (EPIC).
- Manage event facility management including set up and pack down of events.
- Attend events and work closely with event staff to ensure smooth delivery.
- Work across all venues as required to support events.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
- A C Class driver's license is essential.
- Experience in contract and contractor management.
- Experience in maintaining large facilities.
- Relevant project management experience.
- The ability to obtain forklift and working at heights certification.
- Workplace Health and Safety Induction (White Card) or willingness to obtain.
Desirable Qualifications:
The following qualifications would be advantageous:
- Qualified Trade.
- Knowledge of the event industry and/or event industry experience.
Other Requirements:
You will also need to be able to perform regular after hours, public holidays and weekend work in support of booked events.
