The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Advisor to join our dynamic team at Veolia, reporting to the HR Manager. As a key member of our Western Australian operations, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive HR support to both managers and employees, driving business success and enhancing workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support employee relations matters, including disciplinary processes and grievance handling
  • Provide HR solutions through regular engagement with managers and supervisors
  • Interpret policies, industrial instruments, and legislation to deliver timely, pragmatic advice
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance HR efficiency and effectiveness
  • Support enterprise agreement negotiation and implementation
  • Participate in HR projects to enhance processes and employee experiences
  • Assist and support our employee engagement, recognition, diversity, and change management programs
  • Enhance management and supervision capabilities in people management
  • Ensure smooth employee movements and efficient onboarding processes

Requirements

  • Proven ability to engage stakeholders at all levels with excellent communication skills
  • Experience supporting an HR Manager or HRBP in a hands-on HR role
  • Demonstrated involvement in disciplinary or grievance processes
  • Knowledge and practical application of Fair Work legislation and Modern Awards
  • Experience in HR within a heavy industry / industrial organisation
  • Qualification in HR or related business discipline, highly desirable
  • Drivers licence and ability to travel intrastate as required
