Financial Leadership Position

Our organisation is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to fill the role of Treasurer, who will be responsible for shaping and executing funding, liquidity, and balance sheet strategies.

The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of funding and liquidity strategies, including securitisation programs and alternative structures. They will manage balance sheet risk, oversee the investment portfolio, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

We are looking for a professional with a proven track record in senior Treasury roles within banking or financial services, with broad exposure across funding, securitisation, and balance sheet management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing funding and liquidity strategies, including securitisation programs and alternative structures.
  • Managing balance sheet risk, including interest rate and maturity mismatches, within risk appetite.
  • Overseeing the investment portfolio, asset allocation, and surplus funds.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including APRA Prudential Standards.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Proven track record in senior Treasury roles within banking or financial services, with broad exposure across funding, securitisation, and balance sheet management.
  • Deep understanding of APRA Prudential Standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in engaging with external funding markets, regulators, and executive leadership.
  • A strategic thinker who brings rigour, resilience, and stakeholder influence.
