Lead Employment Relations Operations Specialist.

Job Description:

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of employment relations within our business. You will be responsible for designing and delivering impactful ER practices that drive consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor changes in workplace laws and industry best practices to ensure ER practices remain compliant and future-ready.
  • Build relationships with leaders, understanding their unique needs and challenges, and create engaging sessions that turn complex technical information into practical skills.
  • Plan and deliver change initiatives, including forward-looking roadmaps and continuous improvement projects.
  • Oversee templates, knowledge bases, and documentation to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate data, support audits, and deliver insights that inform decision-making and improve outcomes.
  • Streamline processes, enhance operational systems, and implement sustainable ways of working.
  • Guide complex case handling, investigations, and resolutions with fairness, consistency, and procedural integrity.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong understanding of Australian and New Zealand employment legislation and ER practices.
  • Proven experience managing projects, resources, and operational workflows.
  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend actionable improvements.
  • High standards in documentation, compliance, and content management.
  • Skilled in explaining complex concepts and engaging stakeholders across all levels.
