Role Overview

This is a senior legal position within our in-house legal team, focusing on providing high-quality advice and support across various legal and compliance matters.

The ideal candidate will have a mix of private practice and in-house experience, with sound commercial judgement and excellent interpersonal skills.

About the Position
  • Provide legal advice and support to senior stakeholders, including CEO and C-suite
  • Work autonomously with local and international management
  • Be part of a close-knit and supportive legal team
  • Enjoy flexible work options, including a hybrid working model (Office/Work From Home)

This role offers full-time or part-time flexibility across 4 or 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including tenders
  • Advising on complaints and dispute resolution
  • Supporting insurance renewals, licensing, ESG framework, and compliance monitoring
  • Enhancing legal and compliance frameworks, policies, and training
  • Monitoring regulatory developments and legislative changes
  • Liaising with external counsel and managing legal spend
About You

As an Australian-qualified lawyer, you should have 3-8 years PQE and a current Australian Practising Certificate. A mix of private practice and in-house experience is desirable.

You'll bring excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, a pragmatic approach to risk, and a genuine willingness to learn and contribute across both legal and compliance areas.
