Energy and Sustainability Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy and Sustainability Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our Global Energy and Sustainability strategy, you will play a crucial role in driving our company's commitment to renewable energy and sustainability.

Job Description:

The Energy and Sustainability Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Program and project management of key energy and renewable energy workstreams, including offsite PPAs, onsite PPAs, environmental commodities, and distributed energy technologies.
  • Analytical support in assessing renewable energy PPA opportunities, performing market analysis of sustainability products, and meeting global goals.
  • Managing consultant relationships and coordinating with internal stakeholders to obtain necessary buy-in and approvals.
  • Negotiating complex and high-value renewable energy agreements (PPAs) with internal and external counsel.
  • Developing marketing material and presentations for distribution to sales teams, executive leadership, and customers.
  • Providing analytical and research support in developing and managing renewable energy procurement strategy to support long-term corporate sustainability objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline required.
  • 3+ years of renewable energy experience in procurement, origination, or project management.
  • Knowledge of offsite and onsite PPAs, environmental commodities, carbon offsets, batteries, and fuel cells.
  • Broad understanding of Power Purchasing Agreements (PPAs) in APAC, including financial modeling and analysis of PPAs.
  • Experience negotiating complex agreements with internal and external legal counsel.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with local and international teams within the company.
  • Demonstrated ability to work and learn independently, with guidance and direction from manager.
