Critical Attributes
  • Demonstrated success in large scale renewable connections, registration and commissioning according to the Australian National Electricity Rules.
  • A positive problem-solving mentality and great communication skills.
  • Proficiency with power system analysis tools - PSSE, PSCAD, PowerFactory and Python.
Key Responsibilities and Experience Relevant for the Role
  • A Bachelor of electrical engineering/power systems (a Master's viewed favourably).
  • 4+ years of industry experience, with Australian work experience viewed favourably.
  • Fundamental knowledge of power electronics control systems and experience working within an OEM is considered an advantage.
Value Add
  • Experience working in a transmission system operator considered an advantage.
  • More experienced engineers are welcome to apply for the role, in which case they can be considered for a senior position.
