Clinical Nurse Consultant RoleWe are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to take on a key role in advancing clinical practice and improving patient care.Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will provide clinical consultancy services within an assigned area of specialty, developing standards of practice, implementing changes to clinical practice, educating staff, and initiating research and quality improvement activities.Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a clinical consultancy service within an assigned area of specialty
  • Develop standards of practice and implement changes to clinical practice
  • Educate staff and initiate research and quality improvement activities
  • Offer a consultation liaison service across hospital services and external sites within the area of expertise
  • Contribute to the advancement of the profession in line with our vision and values
RequirementsThe successful candidate will possess:
  • Senior nursing level qualifications and experience
  • Professional accountability to a Mental Health Nurse Director and Area Director of Nursing and Midwifery (or Director of Nursing and Midwifery as applicable)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and influence clinical practice and quality improvement initiatives
