We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced occupational therapist to provide clinical support in the inpatient stroke and neurological rehabilitation setting.

About The Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an occupational therapist with advanced clinical skills in acute/subacute stroke and neurological rehabilitation to shape the future of our occupational therapy service.

  • The ideal candidate will have the capacity to lead and mentor a team, communicate effectively, and maintain relationships with patients, staff, and stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following key attributes:

  • Advanced clinical reasoning and complex decision-making skills at an advanced level of practice in stroke and neurological rehabilitation.
  • Able to identify clinically appropriate interventions and implement evidence-based practice into service development.
  • Effective working relationships with multidisciplinary teams, service providers, external agencies, patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Leadership and supervisory skills with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
