Job Overview

The role of Clinical Nurse Manager involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality clinical care in a residential facility. Reporting to the Manager Care Services, you will serve as a focal point for the clinical care of residents and play a key role in promoting their health and well-being.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures related to clinical care, maintaining accurate records and reporting on patient progress, and coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care.

  • Accountability for the overall quality of care and standard of practice within the facility, meeting the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
  • Acting as a clinical resource for complex nursing and clinical management issues.
  • Actively promoting and participating in the Quality Activities plan / program for the clinical nursing area.

Key Responsibilities:

The Clinical Nurse Manager will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures related to clinical care.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on patient progress.
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification.
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Advances skills in clinical practice.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team of caregivers.
