Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shutdown Controller to join our team at Port Hedland. As a Shutdown Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with shutdown management standards, coordinating with site operations and planning teams, and delivering shutdown schedules within budget.

About the Role:
In this key position, you will work closely with the Shutdown Coordination Supervisor to ensure seamless execution of shutdown activities. You will be responsible for managing shutdown duration accuracy, confirming reports, and liaising with contractors. Your expertise in shutdown planning, execution, and analysis will drive business outcomes and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage shutdown schedule based on priorities, progress, and emerging work requirements
* Coordinate with site operations and maintenance teams to validate and challenge scope
* Liaise with planners and supervisors to improve shutdown plans
* Analyze and ensure S26 job/area owners have correct time confirmations and escalate gaps to shutdown superintendent
* Responsible for shutdown duration accuracy via DAS and amend as required prior to end of month

Requirements:
* Excellent safety leadership skills and history of field leadership participation
* Process-driven approach to work
* Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to make decisions in consultation with other business stakeholders
* WA Statutory Supervisor (S26) certification
