Job Opportunity

A challenging position as an experienced electrician is available, with the opportunity to grow professionally in Port Hedland.

The ideal candidate will be part of a high-performing team where their expertise plays a vital role in ensuring operational efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair faults on fixed plant equipment
  • Perform high voltage switching and statutory testing
  • Respond to breakdowns and support shutdowns
  • Maintain and calibrate instrumentation and belt weighers
  • Backup parameters on ABB, Siemens & WEG drives
  • Keep accurate documentation, logbooks, and isolations
  • Drive improvements to boost safety and efficiency
Qualifications and Experience:
  • WA A-Grade Electrical Licence
  • HV switching ticket and practical experience
  • Strong fault-finding skills in continuous operations (iron ore experience highly regarded)
  • Knowledge of VSDs, PLCs, Profibus/Profinet/DeviceNet
  • Ability to read and apply electrical schematics, isolation, and permitting
  • Familiarity with SAP, Fiori, or other digital maintenance systems
  • A collaborative approach and leadership capability
