Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Revenue Accountant to join our Finance team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for supporting the business globally as we continue to grow. You'll work closely with our project managers, sales team, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record and report revenue transactions in compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • Review complex global sales and grant contracts, identifying and analyzing revenue-related issues and recommending solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain revenue and COS schedules, reports, and KPIs by product line.
  • Prepare customer invoices according to delivery schedules.
  • Liaison with project managers, sales, and other stakeholders regarding projects.
  • Assist with audits, compliance, and taxes in relation to revenue.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a position equivalent to a business analysis/revenue accountant or higher responsibilities.
  • Good working knowledge of IFRS, knowledge of GAAP helpful.
  • Experience with Xero, Stripe, SalesForce, Google Workspace - Proficiency in Google Sheets.
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to meet changing priorities and the ability to prioritize workload to achieve on-time accurate results, as well as being detail-oriented, self-directed, and able to effectively complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Confidence and adaptability in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving startup environment.
