Revenue Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Accountant to join our team in the Sydney office. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, billing, collection, and other revenue activities.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with stakeholders to manage accounts receivable mailbox and respond to queries
- Assist with half-year, interim, and year-end reporting and auditing to ensure compliance with policies and IFRS
- Prepare and post manual journals for the release of accrued and deferred revenue, cost of sales, contract costs, and commission, bank, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Process customer invoices, credit notes, and receipts, revenue deferral, accrual journals, and revenue variance analysis reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is essential
- Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software, Workday Financials, and Zoho CRM is desirable
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- An exceptional eye for detail and high level of accuracy while working within strict deadlines
- Advanced Excel modeling skills and good data collation skills
