Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to coordinate our site safety and food safety program across the distribution centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee food safety programs, ensuring certification/accreditation is achieved and maintained through effective auditing, record-keeping, and training;
  • Conduct internal and external audits, including pre-audit preparation, to ensure compliance with relevant regulations;
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve site food safety, establishing best practices through standard operating procedures and regular reviews;
  • Support staff inductions, conduct training sessions, and maintain staff records on food safety standards;

Safety Program Management:

  • Oversee safety programs/initiatives/processes to ensure certification/accreditation is achieved and maintained through effective risk management and compliance reporting;
  • Support and conduct internal and external safety audits, site inspections, and compliance checks;
  • Review and drive risk management reporting, corrective action close-out, task implementation, and review for continuous improvement;

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, OH&S regulations, and cold storage principles;
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally;
  • Strong planning, organisational, and time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively;
