Occupational Health and Safety Role

We are seeking a dedicated specialist to join our team as an Occupational Health and Safety Advisor. This role is responsible for ensuring best-in-class health, safety, and environmental compliance across our properties.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain hearing conservation programs, including monitoring, testing, training, and record-keeping.
  • Conduct active site inspections to identify current and potential health risks.
  • Undertake environmental health duties, such as sampling and auditing across food safety, water quality, noise, and other areas.
  • Create annual audit programs covering water quality, noise, and food safety.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Respond to reported health matters and complaints affecting employees or guests.
  • Support occupational health strategies and plans to continuously improve our safety, environmental, and wellbeing performance.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Audiologist or Audiometrist qualification with minimum 3 years' experience in audiometric testing.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Health, Public Health, or Science (or willingness to obtain).
  • Food Safety Supervisor Qualification.
  • Certificate IV in OHS or willingness to obtain.
  • Experience in auditing, monitoring, reviewing risks, and incident management.
  • Good understanding of environmental and public health legislation, Australian Standards, and ISO requirements.
  • Knowledge of assessing food premises, environmental nuisances, on-site water treatment systems, and other environmental health matters.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with stakeholders across all business areas.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
