We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at MQ Health Kids. As a paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will be providing evidence-based occupational therapy services to children and their families, across outpatient and community settings.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive dynamic team of Allied Health professionals, focussed on high quality clinical service delivery, evidence-based practice and learning, and child and family-centred practice.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of MQ Health Kids (Paediatric Services) and associated project planning.
Key Responsibilities- Providing evidence-based occupational therapy services to children and their families
- Working in a supportive dynamic team of Allied Health professionals
- Contributing to the development of MQ Health Kids (Paediatric Services)
- Participating in project planning and implementation
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy with professional registration
- Demonstrated experience in providing Occupational Therapy services to infants, children and or adolescents in an outpatient and/or community setting
- Comprehensive knowledge of child development and assessment of same
- Experience in equipment prescription and provision for children with disability
- Experience in splinting
- Experience working in daycare/preschool and school environments
- Commitment to the clinical supervision, education and training of allied health staff and students
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team to provide high quality patient care
