About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Expert Leader to join our high-performing Corporate Tax team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing tailored advice and insights to clients on all aspects of the corporate tax process.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate tax and advisory, with experience in managing client relationships and delivering exceptional results. You will work closely with our team to identify growth opportunities, develop business strategies, and deliver high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage overall client engagement including relationship management, tax compliance and advisory
  • Build client relationships and identify growth opportunities in our clients
  • Involvement in business development opportunities
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in tax compliance and process-based activities
  • Provide coaching, support and inspirational leadership to other team members
Requirements
  • University degree in a related discipline, such as Accounting / Finance, Business / Commerce, Legal and / or relevant professional qualification(s)
  • CA / CPA, CTA or other relevant industry accreditation(s)
  • Demonstrated experience and technical skills in corporate tax and advisory (ideally in a public practice environment)
  • Proactive approach to client relationships and cross-selling of services, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Previous experience leading, coaching and mentoring less experienced team members
