Job Title: Vaccine Production Technical Officer

This role plays a pivotal part in our vaccine manufacturing operations globally. The candidate will be involved in all areas of vaccine production, both domestically and internationally. They will spend 2 to 6 months abroad, with the remaining time spent at the laboratory in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality vaccines through antigen production and manufacturing.
  • Maintain accurate records of production and inventory.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  • Decontaminate clean rooms and equipment regularly.
  • Participate in organizing vaccine manufacturing schedules and documentation preparation and review.
  • Actively participate in closing out CAPAs and maintaining OH&S policies and procedures.
  • Be available to participate in APVMA audits and assist in training colleagues to maintain consistent processes.
  • Perform duties of other positions when required.

Qualifications & Relevant Experience:

  • Science qualification or Certificate IV Laboratory Techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience in fermentation and vaccine production processes within a cGMP environment.
  • Knowledge of GMP regulations and NATA standards.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and advanced computer skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Current Driver License.
  • Current passport.
  • International travel and extended stays abroad.
  • Flexible shifts, including some weekend and evening shifts.
