Emergency Veterinarian

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Emergency Veterinarian to fill a full-time position in our emergency department.

About the Role:
  • This is an opportunity to work in a brand-new, state-of-the-art hospital equipped with cutting-edge imaging and diagnostic equipment.
  • You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in emergency, specialist surgery, internal medicine, oncology, orthopaedic medicine, rehabilitation, and behaviour.
  • The role involves providing urgent care and hospital management of complex cases, as well as participating in case collaborations and holistic patient care.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Providing primary emergency consultations and ongoing management of hospitalized specialist referral patients after hours.
  • Working in shifts that fit your lifestyle, including urgent care shifts (6 hours) and hospital care shifts (10 hours).
  • Collaborating with a supportive team and contributing to seamless case collaboration and holistic patient care.

Requirements:
  • A registered veterinarian in the ACT.
