Job Title

This position involves assessing commercial applications, advising on structuring and underwriting large or complex transactions, managing workflow to maintain service levels and turnaround times, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and decision commercial applications in line with credit and funding guidelines
  • Advise on structuring and underwriting large or complex transactions
  • Manage workflow to maintain service levels and turnaround times
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including BDMs and Account Managers
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Credit Analyst with a strong background in commercial finance products, including operating lease, finance lease, and chattel mortgage. The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in banking, finance, commerce, economics, or a related field, and possess strong numerical and financial analysis skills, including the ability to interpret and discuss financial reports. Confidence in communicating with brokers, customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders is essential.

  • Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience in underwriting asset/equipment finance transactions
  • Tertiary qualifications in banking, finance, commerce, economics, or a related field (highly regarded)
  • Strong numerical and financial analysis skills, including the ability to interpret and discuss financial reports
  • Confidence in communicating with brokers, customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and a commercial mindset
