We are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to join our Commercial Finance team in Macquarie Park, Sydney. The position forms a part of the commercial finance team, which provides financial and commercial support to the Portfolio Leadership team and Category teams in order to drive long term profitability.

The Commercial Finance Manager has a key finance business partner role in development/modelling of budgets for categories and provide commercial support for the MWB (Strategic Plan) process and activities for the category.

You will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Category teams to provide meaningful commercial insights and deliver business cases that support strategic decision-making and long-term profitability.

What You'll Do

Integrated Business Planning

• Contribute to the financial inputs across the IBP cycle (Strategic Plan, Budget, Category Plan, and S&OP)
• Ensure functional teams take ownership of their financial inputs and align to long-term business goals
• Partner with business leaders to deliver against short and long-term financial targets

Financial Performance & Analysis

• Identify and evaluate key drivers of sales and cost across the portfolio
• Provide insightful variance analysis and commentary to drive EBIT improvements
• Deliver commercial support and reporting across Sales and Marketing teams
• Ensure rigorous investment and DME control processes are in place

Commercial & Business Case Leadership

• Lead financial modelling for NPD and private label initiatives, ensuring risks and scenarios are assessed
• Support the Stage Gate process with commercial insights to drive effective launch execution
• Track performance on major NPD and private label projects post-launch
• Contribute to promotional plan development, ensuring short- and long-term financial impact is aligned

About You

You're a commercially focused finance professional with proven experience in business partnering across FMCG, ideally with exposure to the foodservice channel. You bring strategic thinking, strong modelling capability, and the confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.

You'll Bring:

• 5+ years' experience in commercial finance roles supporting $50m+ portfolios
• Proven success in a business partnering capacity – ideally across Sales, Category, and Marketing
• Experience in a foodservice is essential and experience working in a manufacturing or retail trading environment is highly desirable
• Expertise in business case development and financial evaluation of NPD
• Degree in Commerce or Finance (CA/CPA/MBA desirable)
• High proficiency in Excel, SAP, and business intelligence tools
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to juggle competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
