Support Worker

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting people with disabilities to live independently and achieve their goals.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality, person-centered care to our clients. This includes assisting with daily living tasks and personal care, supporting clients with community access and social activities, maintaining a clean and safe home environment, and encouraging skill development and independence.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support clients to participate in community activities and social events.
  • Maintain a clean and safe home environment by performing household tasks and ensuring the client's property is secure.
  • Encourage skill development and independence by setting goals and providing support to achieve them.

Requirements:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) is required.
  • Experience as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) is highly regarded.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification is essential.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and a Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends.
