POSITION
Personal Care Worker/Disability Support Worker - Toowoomba and Surrounds

Role Overview

We're on the lookout for capable and reliable Disability Support Workers in the Toowoomba area and its surroundings. In this role, you will provide invaluable assistance to aged and disability clients, helping them with various aspects of daily living. Our clients require support in areas such as domestic tasks, social interactions, community access, and personal care, all aimed at promoting their independence in their own homes.

Skills & Experience

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Demonstrated paid experience in a community setting (aged care, disability support, mental health, etc.)
  • A valid driver's license and access to your own comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification
  • Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (not mandatory required)
  • Flexibility to work various shifts (especially SLEEPOVER), including personal care and domestic assistance.
  • Certificate III/IV in Disability, Individual Support, or similar
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
  • Accredited medication unit (HLTHPS006 - Assist Clients with Medication)
  • Portuguese language skills highly regarded
