About the Role:

  • Provide personal care assistance to individuals with spinal cord injuries, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Support participants with domestic tasks, community access, and medication administration, fostering a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Assist with hoisting and transferring, as well as bowel therapy (enema and digital stimulation), utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Australian Driver Licence for reliable transportation.
  • Certificate 3 in Individual Support, demonstrating expertise in providing person-centered care.
  • Current National Police Clearance, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Current Blue Card and Yellow Card, complying with regulatory requirements.
  • Current First Aid / CPR Certificate, promoting emergency response preparedness.
  • Immunisation History Statement (evidence of covid vaccinations), protecting both staff and participants.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module, understanding disability support principles.
  • Infection Control Training - Covid19, maintaining a hygienic work environment.
  • Reliable, proactive, and positive attitude, delivering exceptional service.

Work Arrangements:

  • Immediate start available for motivated candidates.
  • Ongoing casual nature, offering flexibility and autonomy.
  • Monday to Sunday support in the AM (7am-9am and 7am-12pm) and PM (19:00pm-21:00pm), catering to diverse needs.

Pay Rates:

">
  • Day shift: $36.25 per hour, competitive compensation.
  • Evening shift: $39.88 per hour, recognizing evening dedication.
  • Saturday shift: $50.75 per hour, rewarding weekend commitment.
  • Sunday shift: $65.25 per hour, acknowledging weekend sacrifice.
