We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Research Assistant to support our research initiatives at the world's leading research and knowledge translation organisation focusing on mental ill-health in young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to managing research projects, including ethics applications, and participate in team research activities.
  • Undertake rapid reviews of youth mental health literature and perform qualitative interviews and analysis.
  • Participate in national forums, maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, and contribute to team meetings.
  • Support the development of services targeting young people with, or at risk of, first episode psychosis within designated headspace centres nationally.
Your Qualifications
  • You hold a postgraduate degree in behavioural or social sciences, possessing excellent communication skills and a strong interest in youth mental health research and service development.
  • You have experience with qualitative research methods and literature reviews.
  • You demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • You are passionate about building a research career in the mental health sector.
