The position of Medical Officer - Psychiatry Research is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic clinical mental health research team at The Alfred Hospital. This role will provide medical input into the conduct of multiple clinical trials and involve administration of specialized clinical rating scales.

As a key member of the clinical research team, you will have the opportunity to engage in all aspects of the research process, including contributing to the development of new treatments and approaches for people living with mental illness. A medical degree with current registration and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential qualifications for this role.

This full-time 12-month contract position offers a chance to work under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Prior experience in clinical research and/or clinical trials is highly desirable but not mandatory.
