Job Title: Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our leadership team. This is a challenging opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced project-driven environment.

This role will involve overseeing the end-to-end Human Resources function across the business, reporting directly to the executive team. You will be responsible for leading recruitment and selection, providing expert advice and support across all areas of HR operations, developing and reviewing employment contracts, policies and procedures, interpreting modern awards and enterprise agreements, and supporting workforce planning and talent development strategies.

To be successful, you will have at least 5 years' experience in generalist HR roles, ideally in construction, civil, infrastructure or similar industries. You will also need strong experience in end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition, sound understanding of award interpretation and EBA processes, previous experience handling employee relations, contracts and compliance, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead recruitment and selection across various roles.
  • Provide expert advice and support across all areas of HR operations.
  • Develop, review and manage employment contracts, policies and procedures.
  • Interpret modern awards and enterprise agreements, with EBA exposure essential.
  • Support or lead EBA negotiation processes with legal and IR advisors.
  • Guide managers through employee relations issues and performance management.
  • Support workforce planning and talent development strategies.
  • Oversee the outsourced payroll function, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
