Job Opportunity: HR Professional

This part-time permanent position offers a flexible four-day week, allowing you to start your career in Human Resources and make a positive difference in education and the community.

About the Role:

The Human Resources Assistant will provide high-quality support to the school's HR function and report directly to the Business Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide administrative and executive assistant support to the HR Manager and Business Manager
- Set up internal committee meetings, prepare reports, and take minutes
- Follow up on actions from committee meetings and communicate with relevant authorities
- Assist with the full recruitment cycle, including creating job advertisements and scheduling interviews
- Support the development of new HR practices
- Support onboarding of new staff, completing necessary paperwork
- Act as Health and Safety Committee Secretary
- Maintain, update, and oversee the school's policy and Risk Management platform

Required Skills and Attributes:

- Intermediate to advanced computer skills and data entry abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Mac operating systems, Google documents, and Microsoft Office software
- Self-motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
- Enthusiasm, team player attitude, high attention to detail, and good time management skills
- Ability to investigate and follow up on tasks
- Interest in Human Resources or previous experience in HR
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as autonomously
