About the Role

Raytheon Australia is seeking a skilled Technical Data Management Officer to join our Configuration Management Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for organizing, storing, and sharing technical data within the Minor Vessel Classes, while ensuring compliance with security, exports, and ITAR restrictions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide data management support to ensure accurate and efficient data availability to authorized users.
  • Support the sustainment of Patrol and Hydrographic ships by providing authorized technical data to third parties during maintenance activities and in-service defects.
  • Assist internal stakeholders in the use of data management applications, including Teamcenter, Objective ECM, Atlassian JIRA, and external clients' data portal(s).
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain Raytheon Australia's reputation as a trusted partner in delivering systems integration and mission support solutions.
Requirements
  • Experience in data management in an asset management environment.
  • Strong document writing skills, including authoring processes and procedures, internal training material, and reports from the data management system.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or recognized degree.
  • Previous experience in making minor changes to systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness.
  • Understanding of data management requirements in Commonwealth of Australia data management systems.
  • Basic understanding of configuration management requirements.
  • Computer literacy, including data management systems, Windows operating system, and Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365.
  • Excellent interpersonal and technical communication skills.
  • Accountability for ongoing self-improvement and professional development.
