About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Centre Manager to join our team at CDC Data Centres. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and engagement to one of our key clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain the Data Centre environment, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Respond to Data Centre incidents 24/7, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Manage assets within the Data Centre, maintaining accurate records and utilizing DCIM tools for capacity planning.
  • Provide Data Centre patch management, security management, and infrastructure maintenance services.
  • Contribute to Data Centre change management, providing clear communication to management and delivery teams.
  • Perform approved Data Centre hardware installation, moves, adds, and changes (IMAC).
  • Coordinate with 3rd party suppliers to meet project deliverables.
  • Create and assist with the creation of service delivery and operational processes, procedures, and reports.
  • Deliver services in accordance with ITIL best practices.
About You

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in Data Centre operations and management. Key requirements include:

  • Experience providing services to Defence or Defence Industry.
  • Ability to rack server hardware.
  • Good knowledge of ICT hardware for incident management.
  • Understanding of networking and communications over copper and fibre.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Existing AGSVA Security Clearance at Negative Vetting 2 level.
